CHIROPRACTIC AND IMPROVED BLOOD PRESSURE

A preliminary study was done on 75 male and female subjects. The subjects ranged from 20-35 years of age. None had previous blood pressure problems or had taken any kind of medication the day their blood pressure was taken. Each patient was given one chiropractic adjustment and tested directly for blood pressure changes one minute afterwards. 14 out of the 53 individuals in the experimental group experienced a decrease in blood pressure. In 6 of the individuals, there was a significant decrease in the diastolic pressure. This study concludes that chiropractic treatment could help in the reduction of high blood pressure in some individuals.
